Three magic days in Bali!

Three friends during three magical days in Bali!

Among the most beautiful places in the world I have already visited, Bali is a like a magic island. We met very friendly Balinese people, always smiling and having a great sense of hospitality. From Doha to Bali by Qatar Airways, the flight is 9 hours.

landing at Denpasar Airport in Bali. Upon arrival just take a local taxi to reach your hotel if there is not a hotel transfer already arranged by your hotel.

Transportation in Bali is by taxi, or even by Uber. You can rent a car or a motorbike (the most popular transportation in Bali).

We were staying in a charming hotel The Mutiara Hotel and Villas in Seminyak, and from there we took taxis to do some visits, unfortunately, no time enough to visit Ubud or to do a tour of the island. I hope to come back for longer holidays…

All hotels in Bali are offering excellent services, rooms rates are very good even during high season, compared to those in many destinations. Food in local restaurants is of very good value for money, very tasty .. you can find all your favorite cuisines, especially in Seminyak and Legian.

I would say that this short trip was just to get a taste of Bali before to come back to explore the island!

Seminyak is a very good place where to stay in Bali: only 20 Minutes away from the airport by taxi, many restaurants around offering all kinds of cuisine , good place for shopping. A new shopping mall is now open in Seminyak where you can get some souvenirs and buy good Balinese and international brands.

Next to the mall is a really nice restaurant called “Badong Kerobokan” where we had an amazing breakfast and local coffee  “Kopi Bali” ☕️  it was not expensive.

2 streets away from the Hotel , are many restaurants: Italian Asian Japanese Chinese even Arabic food too etc ….  nice bars around too , sure you will find the right restaurant and bar for your budget .

The first day we decided to have fun at  “Waterbom” which is 45 minutes away from the hotel . Many crazy water games that I’m sure you’ll enjoy very much.  I remember I paid around 40$ for entrance fees for the whole day plus some deposit if you want to eat or drink inside as they don’t accept cash.

By evening we went for some drinks in Kuta which is 10/15 minutes away from Seminyak. It’s fun to go there are plenty  of nice bars night clubs.

Second Day we went to visit Tanah Lot temple at 45 minutes drive from the hotel by Uber

Tanah Lot is located by the sea, on a rock. This temple is very important for Balinese to get protection from gods of the sea. It is one of the most beautiful temples I never saw so far, breathtaking view and atmosphere.

Tanah Lot is a part of the most important sites to visit in Bali, and it is recommended to visit it at sunset ! Look at the happy smile of those 3 Egyptian guys in Bali !

At the same day in the evening, I went to one of the best Massage places you’ll ever get in Bali 🙈it’s called “Magic Fingers” in Seminyak very professional and not expensive but you need to book in advance, as this place is very successful and always crowded.

There is a lot more to discover in Bali but need more time.

Please leave me any comment, even suggestions, any question. This blog is a way of communication between gentle people, with respect and no aggressiveness. Let’s start a friendly exchange!
